ORIX Aviation, the Dublin based operating aircraft Lessor, is pleased to announce the completion of a $95mln debt funding facility with DVB Bank on a portfolio of 8 aircraft. It is part of a strategic initiative to improve returns by enhancing the capital structure with a level of debt that allows ORIX Aviation to maintain flexibility in managing the assets. 

February 2008
ORIX announced on 14 February an equity investment in Malaysian based airline AirAsia X.  Under the terms of the agreement, ORIX will receive approximately 16.7 million newly issued common shares of AirAsia X, or 10.0% equity.  ORIX will also take a place on the Board of Directors.

ORIX Aviation has recently closed the purchase from Q Aviation of a portfolio of eight aircraft, comprising widebody and narrowbody aircraft on lease to US and European airlines.

ORIX Aviation, the Dublin based Operating Lessor, and U.S. Airways have extended the lease agreement for one B757-200 aircraft, MSN 22209, through to September 2009.
